At Moonrise Studio, we honour these differences, striving to create for your needs with quality and character. We’ll whip up something special just for you – because who wants vanilla when you can have sprinkles and a cherry on top? 

Since 2018, Moonrise Studio has offered photography, video production, creative management and consultancy services – partnering with the likes of the Singapore Grand Prix, TAO Group Hospitality, World’s 50 Best, the Embassy of France and more on a range of projects.

Moonrise Studio began as a solo woman-led outfit in 2014, working to establish a foothold in the creative scene.  Since then, the team has grown rapidly, anchored by a diverse team of like-minded creatives, and long-term relationships with brands and clients in the arts, entertainment and hospitality. 

We’re a small but mighty team – from intimate celebrations to international festivities, we translate your ideas into reality, creating captivating effervescent visuals no matter the moment.

our founder

Debbie Y. is a multi-hyphenate creative, with over a decade of professional photography experience. Her immersion in arts and culture began with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, enabling her to expand client and partner networks across industries and beyond Singapore.

In recent years, she served as the head producer for the Singapore Grand Prix photography team, the creative director for E-Sports festival Hyperdrive Cities, as well as lead director-producer roles for corporate campaigns with Grand Hyatt Singapore, Nestle Professional and Esplanade.

In 2023, Debbie was appointed an official ambassador for Nikon, and was engaged to collaborate on the launch of the Nikon Z8 camera – with her accompanying visual works showcased across camera stores and Nikon corporate offices.

Debbie has also participated in several panel discussions, exhibited her works at Singapore’s Objectifs – Centre for Photography and Film, and hosted workshops for Nikon School of Photography.

Moonrise Studio takes inspiration from the moon and Enso.

The moon ascends in the darkness, shining its natural light on all who gaze upon it. We, too, seek to unify allure and enigmatic beauty, while always moving onwards and upwards. Our logo, the incomplete Enso circle, is also a stark reminder to hone our craft and relentlessly strive for perfection - even if the end-goal always remains ahead of us.
